Brødrene Dal is a Norwegian comedy series by the trio KLM (Kirkvaag, Lystad, Mjøen), that originally aired as four stand-alone series in 1979, 1982, 1994 and 2005. A fifth adventure was released as a movie in 2010.[1]
The series has many similarities to Monty Python's Flying Circus, as the three actors play close to all roles in series, often several different roles in each episode. Each series has a main plot, but features many sketches unrelated to it.

Originally aired in 1979, this adventure takes place on the fictional river of Overfloden, where the brothers are searching for the long lost professor Drøvel, who disappeared 25 years earlier.
Originally aired in 1982, this adventure takes the brothers around in time and place as they search for the magical spectral stones, the source of incredible power.
Originally aired in 1994, this adventure focus on the brothers' search for the lost sacred Saami city of Atlant-Is (Atlant-Ice). This was the first series to feature main characters other than the three brothers and narrator. This was originally planned to be the final series about the brothers.
Originally aired in 2005, this adventure takes the brothers back in time as they try to resolve the mystery of late King Carl XIIs fate some 300 years ago. This is the last series about the brothers, following Kirkvaags death in 2007.
Originally performed on stage in 1997, this adventure was realesed as a feature film in 2010. The production was commissioned in 2006 for a fifth series, but Kirkvaags sickness delayed work on the project, ultimately bringing the production to a halt. Trond Kirkvaags parts were recorded separately before his death from colorectal cancer in 2007. In 2009, the two remaining members of the trio began working on the project, and it was released in theaters on 10 September 2010.
